Dr. Thompson is a second generation dentist following in the footsteps of his father, the late Dr. Olin Thompson, DDS, who moved his practice to St. Simons Island from Vidalia, GA in 1985. Paul graduated from the University of Georgia in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and earned his degree at the Medical College of Georgia. 

He resides on St. Simons Island with his wife Jenny, his three sons and their two dogs. He is an avid outdoorsman and an active member of the St. Simons Island Community Church.
